Getting here

Every group travels by private boat, scheduled around your event. About 30 minutes from downtown, $24 per person round trip.

How it works

Three easy steps

1
We book the boat

Your sales manager sets departure and return times around your event.

2
Guests board downtown

From EDIC Pier or Long Wharf, depending on group size. Arrive 15 minutes before departure.

3
We meet you at both ends

An events representative welcomes you at the dock in Boston, and your on-site coordinator greets you on the island. The boat back leaves when your event ends.

Which boat is ours?

It depends on your guest count

About 30 minutes each way. Boat costs count toward the wedding minimum and are built into our corporate sample packages and retreat packages. Boat charges carry a 10% transportation fee.

If plans change

Running late or leaving early

We can often fit them on another run. If not, an extra run costs $500 on the island ferry or $2,300 on a charter.

Missed the boat

Call your coordinator. We'll find a later trip or book a water taxi: $450 for up to 13 people, plus $10 for each additional person.

Bad weather

Events run rain or shine. If we cancel for extreme weather, you can reschedule within the year or get a full refund.

Accessibility

The island ferry from EDIC Pier is wheelchair accessible; the Long Wharf charters are not. On the island there are paved and hard-packed paths, accessible restrooms in select buildings and golf-cart rides. Tell us about guests' needs ahead of time.
